The International Conference on DV-Xα Method (ICDM) is a prestigious academic forum dedicated to the advancement of material science, quantum chemistry, and computational chemistry, with a central focus on the DV-Xα method — a quantum mechanical approach for analyzing the electronic structure of atoms, molecules, and solids. Originating in Japan, the DV-Xα Annual Meeting has been held regularly for over three decades, primarily as a national or regional gathering of researchers in Japan. To foster broader international collaboration and knowledge exchange, the international edition of this meeting—known as ICDM—was established in 1996.

In 2025, ICDM proudly returns with its 8th international edition, in conjunction with the 37th Annual DV-Xα Meeting. This year’s conference will be hosted by Universitas PGRI Semarang and held in Bali, Indonesia from September 8–10, 2025. The event will feature in-person oral and poster sessions, keynote speeches, invited talks, scientific discussions, and cultural exchange programs.
